Disability Services
Franklin College is committed to providing equal access to students with both learning and physical disabilities. Reasonable and appropriate accommodations will be provided to students with disabilities to ensure equal access to academic programs and other college-sponsored activities. It is the responsibility of the student to identify him/herself and formally request accommodations.
In order to receive accommodations, students must provide documentation of the disability from a qualified professional, sign a release of information form and meet with the Director of Academic Resources to discuss their needs. The Director will work with students and faculty members to make arrangements that support academic success. It is most helpful if students identify their needs prior to their arrival on campus. However, the Director of Academic Resources is available to work with students with disabilities at any point in the academic year.
