How's the Food?
Tasty. Diverse. Conveniently located.
Franklin College's dining facilities are centrally located in the Napolitan Student Center. With a variety of food options ranging from hearty hometown cooking to healthier, fresh fruit and salad to cultural entrees and mouth-watering desserts, students are bound to find something to fulfill their taste buds and dietary needs. Options include:
The MarketplaceLocated in the Napolitan Student Center, The Marketplace features a number of food stations including Hometown, Smart Market, The Grill, The Pizza Station, Substantials, Red Hot Chef, salad and soup bars, a dessert bar, soft serve ice cream and yogurt stations, as well as multiple beverage stations.
Sack lunches can also be provided and picked up for students who cannot eat a meal on campus due to personal or other responsibilities that take them away from campus during the scheduled meal hours.
Jazzman's CaféGet in the groove with your favorite specialty coffee beverage. Then find the perfect accompaniment in one of our indulgent pastries, cookies or muffins — all baked fresh every morning, right in the store. Jazzman's is located inside the Napolitan Student Center and accepts Dining Dollars & Ben Bucks or cash/credit/debit.
Ben's Den Convenience StoreLocated on the lower level of the Napolitan Student Center, Ben's Den is the new on-campus convenience store. Here we stock snacks, drinks, hot food items, over-the-counter medications, and more. Also available is a full line of grab-and-go meal options from Simply to Go.
There are several meal plan options to choose from. Plans include a set number of Marketplace meals and a designated amount of Dining Dollars. Keep in mind, Marketplace meals do not roll over at the end of the semester.
Dining Dollars can be used at any food station on campus to supplement the Marketplace meals in your plan. Not a breakfast eater? Choose a plan with fewer Marketplace meals and more Dining Dollars that allows you to grab coffee and a bagel on the run.
Plan A - Comprehensive:The Comprehensive Meal Plan, provides unlimited usage in The Marketplace. Plan A also includes $30 in Dining Dollars as well.
Plan B - 150 + 100:A semester plan which includes 150 meals and $100 in Dining Dollars.
Plan C - 100 + 150:A semester plan that includes 100 meals and $150 in Dining Dollars.
Plan D - Limited:The Limited Meal Plan, provides 10 meals per week. Plan D does not include Dining Dollars.
