Athletics

With over 35% of Franklin College students participating in varsity sports, Franklin College has a proud tradition of success within the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference and the NCAA Division III, including several HCAC all-sports championships in both men’s and women’s sports. Winter Term

Rather than beginning a full second-semester course load directly after the winter holiday break, Franklin students enroll in one Winter Term course that lasts only the month of January. Winter Term offers many exciting opportunities in which students can take part, including non-traditional classes, internship experiences and a study abroad program. Service Learning

As part of Franklin College’s curriculum, students will combine classroom theories and lessons with real-life experiences by taking part in service learning – providing a service to a community organization as part of an academic course.
