Admissions Decisions

Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis. Every student application will be carefully reviewed and a decision will be made within 4-6 weeks. The application for admission also serves as the scholarship application.

Early Notifications

December 1 is the deadline for Early Notification – a non-binding option for students who wish to submit their application to several institutions, while exploring their options. Among other benefits, students who apply for Early Notification will be given the maximum consideration for all merit-based scholarships – specifically the Ben Franklin Day Scholars academic competition.

Regular Notification

Students who apply after December 1 will be considered for admission on a rolling basis. Decisions can be expected 4-6 weeks after the complete application is received, including all requested materials and transcripts.

Cost

The application fee is waived for students who apply for early notification. For students who apply after December 1, there is a $40.00 application fee.

Recommended Coursework

• English: 4 years
• Math: 3-4 years (including Algebra II)
• Science: 3 years (2 must be labs)
• History or Social Studies: 2-3 years
• Foreign Language: 2-3 years of the same language
