Application Information
Deadlines: Franklin College practices rolling admission, with a non-binding Early Notification Option. Students who apply by the Early Notification date will receive their admission and scholarship decisions prior to the holiday break. Additionally, students applying for Early Notification will be given maximum consideration for merit based scholarships, and be given priority consideration for the Ben Franklin Day for Scholars program.
Early Notification: December 21
Regular Notification: Applicants submitting after December 21 are considered on a rolling basis until the class is full.
Application Instructions: To be considered for admission, students must submit the following materials to the Office of Admission:
- Application for Admission and Scholarship online or paper
- Official transcript
- Official scores from the ACT or SAT (critical reading and math)
- Secondary School Report Form
- Application Fee ($40) – applicable only for students who submit the paper application after December 21.
When students bring you a Secondary School Report Form, you should:
- Complete the recommendation or submit it electronically via Docufide
- Provide an official transcript of courses taken and grades received or direct the student to Docufide for electronic submission.
- Include results of either the ACT or SAT .
